What the key tasks will look like

The Communication Manager will support the Brand and Customer Experience Manager in improving the DKV overall communication towards customers and prospects. He/she will help with the content management of several on and offline media, like press releases, flyers, website and social media.

  • Execute communication programs and support the Brand & Customer Experience Manager on strategic communication projects improving the customer experience.
  • Write or coordinate copy for commercial publications (ex: leaflets, brochures, …)
  • Provide support in drafting and editing functional customer communication (ex: e-mails, letters,…)
  • Coordinate graphic production to ensure that the content is aligned with the Brand Manager and rules of the DKV brandbook.
  • In charge of SEO monitoring and establishing of action plans to improve the SEO performances
  • Manage community/social media (mainly Facebook)
  • Build an editorial calendar in line with the marketing plan Supports the Brand Manager on content management with ambassadors, influencers, the user community and B2B clients.
  • Coordinate translations of marketing documents

Required skills and competencies

  • You have a Bachelor degree (or equivalent in experience) in communication or languages, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in communication, preferably in customer communication. Experience in insurance or digital communication is a plus. 
  • You have excellent communication skills both written as spoken in primarily Dutch, and you have good knowledge of French and English. 
  • You have a proven track record in copywriting and content development/management
  • Your knowledge of and experience in social media is top notch and you know how to leverage communication on different platforms and to different targets
  • Strong (commercial) language skills and capacity to translate in French and Dutch, with a customer centric mindset;
  • You are flexible with good planning and organizational skills, keeping your short- and long term deadlines in mind at all times; 
  • You have a hands-on mentality, able to work in a proactive manner;
  • You are a teamplayer who enjoys collaborating, who's fully able to work autonomously;
  • As communication expert, creativity and being able to tell a story is key, always with a good sense of detail.
